Reddit’s AMA (Ask Me Anything) is a place for stars of films, television, and other various artists, to connect with their fans, by answering every question they physically can, in a limited amount of time. Just yesterday, the voice of Ahsoka Tano — Ashley Eckstein — held her very own Reddit AMA. Here’s the highlights.

Redditor AmateurOutdoorsman asked: “If Ahsoka were to make it to a live action film or show, would you want to portray her? And if not, who would be your top choice to do so?”

Eckstein responded: “I would love to play Ahsoka in live action if I was the right age for the role. It would all depend on how old Ahsoka is as to who should play her. I want whatever is best for the character!”

The actress also talked about how Star Wars Rebels executive producer Dave Filoni was the best director she’s ever worked with.

Redditor DarthContinent asked a very good question; one that’s been on my mind, as well. “Given that Ahsoka Tano emanates oodles of the Light side of the Force in the form of goodness, compassion, strength, and rarely vulnerability, how difficult do you believe it would be to seduce her to the Dark side, and which person(s) or what event(s) might stand the best chance or orchestrating this transformation?”

Eckstein responded: “I think Ahsoka is good through and through. I think she is far from the dark side. I don’t think anything can bring her to the dark side, but I do hope she is still alive and in the Sith Temple…”

So do we all, Ashley Eckstein, so do we all. Eckstein also talked about how much she enjoyed the Star Wars Rebels Season 3 trailer, and confirmed that Ahsoka will be back.

“The Rebels season 3 trailer is AMAZING!!!! Seriously blew my mind! I’m am just in the dark as you are. Dave announced that Ahsoka will be back at some point in Rebels but that’s all I know…”

Redditor danakin2011 asked who Eckstien’s favorite Star Wars character was.

Eckstein responded:  “My favorite character is R2-D2, if you think about it, he is truly the Hero of Star Wars. He’s saved everyone at one point or another!”

Redditor GlutenFremous asked what it was like learning she would be playing a Star Wars character, for the first time.

Eckstein responded: “Honestly, I felt like I won the lottery when I was cast as Ahsoka. I’ve been a SW fan ever since I was a toddler. It’s such an honor to be a part of this franchise and it’s an honor that I do not take lightly. It’s truly changed my life to be a SW character.”

Redditor RodianFace asked which character from The Clone Wars she’d most like to catch up with.

Eckstein responded: “I’d love to know what Barriss Offee is up to!”

Seeing as how Bariss gave into the seductive call of the Dark Side, I can’t imagine an Ahsoka and Barris reunion would go too well.

Eckstein also talked about her favorite story-arc from The Clone Wars. Mortis from the Season 5 finale (a personal favorite of mine), and the youngling arc when Ahsoka guided them to find the kyber crystals to fashion their very own lightsabers.

The actress also said that, besides being alive, she hoped that Ahsoka continues her journey, and finds out more about her former master, Anakin Skywalker. Disney, we need an Ahsoka animated film…now, like, right now.
