A new trailer for Star Wars Rebels season two is here! With new mysteries, new stakes, and new enemies, this season promises to be even more explosive that the last. And let’s be honest, season one’s last episode, Fire Across the Galaxy, was pretty explosive. Star Wars Rebels clearly has a lot to live up to; but considering five special moments from the new trailer, we’re confident it will blow beyond our expectations.

1. A Mysterious Figure
This character is a new one to Star Wars Rebels, and his name and identity are, as per usual, a complete mystery. He looks enigmatic, but also like someone who doesn’t want to attract attention. From dialogue in the trailer, we know that he knows something about Ezra’s parents, so he will be important figure to watch out for throughout the course of the season.
Next: A Force Vision of Loved Ones
2. Ezra Bridger’s parents are alive!
We all know from Revenge of the Sith and The Empire Strikes Back that Force visions about loved ones can be dangerous. It seems this one will be no different. In the trailer, Ezra, presumably after seeing a Force vision of them, seems desperate to find his parents. And who wouldn’t be, after such a revelation? Still, I doubt it will end well for him. He seems afraid, and as Yoda said, “Fear is the path to the dark side.”
Next: A New Bounty Hunter
3. A new bounty hunter
“Still a bounty hunter, I see.”
“Tell me you don’t miss it.”
It appears Sabine has a new (or perhaps not so new?) foe. With her awesome but unfamiliar helmet design, it’s unclear whether this new character is a Mandalorian like Sabine. In fact, the fact that this bounty hunter is female and a bounty hunter would have been all we knew about her, if it weren’t for the sharp eye of Star Wars fan Pete Morrison from Twitter.
For the photo above, Pete notes that the back of the new bounty hunter’s helmet sports the symbol of the Black Sun Syndicate. Could Sabine have a history with the crime bosses of Black Sun? Or is this affiliation exclusive to the female bounty hunter?
Regardless, it looks like Sabine is going to come into her own in a big way this season, and in more ways than one.

4. Clan Wren, House Viszla
“I’m clan Wren, House Viszla. I seek justice through single combat.”
The Mandalorians are back! After the cancellation of The Clone Wars, fans were left hanging with no knowledge of the fate of the Mandalorian people, or even Pre Viszla’s own Death Watch. Now, it looks like we’ll be getting a continuation, if not closure for this turbulent culture.
But there’s more than Mandos to look out for. While Sabine can obviously take on her own people, there are some foes you need an experienced Jedi for.
Next: The New Inquisitors
5. The Seventh Sister & the Fifth Brother
After weeks of speculation, it was finally revealed who Sarah Michelle Geller was voicing in Star Wars Rebels. And her character was well worth the wait.

The Seventh Sister and the Fifth Brother are two Inquisitors dispatched to deal with Kanan, Ezra, and Ahsoka Tano. At this point, it would seem that the latter three are among the Empire’s top targets. With Kanan and Ezra, it’s probably simply because of the fact they’ve been able to evade the Empire’s grasp for so long… but Ahsoka, as the Emperor points out in a voice over in the trailer, is much for valuable, as she could lead Vader and the Emperor to other important Jedi.

But first, the Seventh Sister and the Fifth Brother have to actually fight the Jedi. While it appears that Kanan and Ezra give them little trouble, they may have difficulty with the fierce Togruta with twin white lightsabers.
