With just two months remaining until the worldwide premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the veil of secrecy surrounding the film is at a heightened sense of security. Many fans — myself among them — believe we will get the final trailer for The Force Awakens, on October 16, this Friday, but that remains to be see. With so much left up in the air regarding the film, every little bit of information pried from the clenched fist of Disney/Lucasfilm and J.J. Abrams, seems like quite the win. Which is why this bit of news seems so interesting.
A Redditor by the name of feetofire went to a play at the Almeida Theatre in London, where they came across the bill for the play, listing the actors and their credits…and one in particular stood out. Actress Kate Fleetwood (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, Les Miserable) has Star Wars: The Force Awakens…or to be more exact, Episode VII, listed as her film credits.
This is very interesting news, as we’ve not yet heard of Kate being cast in The Force Awakens, and that could be attributed to any number of things. She could be portraying a minor character with very little screentime, or she could be in full prosthetics and makeup as an alien. However, just by looking at her, and her body of work in film and acting, I would hazard a guess that Kate Fleetwood could be some sort of officer in the First Order. She definitely has that look.
