The Dork Side Hasbro Star Wars Black Series Fan Poll Results Are In

Just last week Hasbro asked Star Wars fans to vote on their favorite Star Wars character to be the next 6″ Black Series collectible figure. Dork Side of the Force was a major part of the voting, and you the fans responded, here are the top five results…

When Hasbro asked Dork Side of the Force to partake in its annual Star Wars Black Series Fan Poll, we were honored to do so, and quickly began to ask you, our readers, to vote on your favorite character to be made into the next Black Series collectible Star Wars figure from the wildly popular toy company.

Fans from across the internet got involved, and we were even featured — along with other prominent Star Wars fan sites —  on Disney/Lucasfilm’s official site, Starwars.com

The polls officially closed yesterday morning, and we turned in our numbers to Hasbro, so they could tabulate all the votes, from all the websites listed above. Then, at San Diego Comic-Con, at the Hasbro Star Wars product panel on July 23, the winning Star Wars character will be announced.

Last year, the Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Revan won in a landslide, and Hasbro even decided to make a figure of the runner-up, Sabine from Star Wars Rebels. So, it would make sense that they might do that again this year.

So, without further ado, let’s get into the voting results, as you the fans and our readers voted:

Jaina Solo: 228 votes

Jaina Solo and Jacen Solo (The Solo Twins): 166 votes

Mara Jade: 90 votes

Darth Talon: 87 votes

Hera Syndulla from Star Wars Rebels: 67 votes

As you can see, the top four spots belong to the old Star Wars EU (now called Star Wars Legends). It seems to be an on-going theme with Star Wars fans that the Expanded Universe has not been forgotten.

Of course, it’s important to remember that this is just Dork Side of the Force’s numbers, there are many other sites that turned in voting numbers on Monday, to Hasbro, and we won’t know the final number until July 23rd, at San Diego Comic-Con.
