Star Wars: Force For Change Contest Approaches Zero Hour

The Star Wars: Force for Change campaign that was launched 8 weeks ago by Lucasfilm in partnership with Omaze, comes to a close this evening. The campaign has proven to be a great success, with people from over 119 countries contributing to help underprivileged children all over the world. The Walt Disney Co. itself donated $1 million to help launch the campaign.

There are only a few hours left if you want to enter the contest, which gives you the opportunity to win several incredible prizes. Lucasfilm is offering a chance for the grand prize winner to visit the Star Wars: Episode VII set in London and actually appear onscreen in the film, along with a friend of their choosing. Other prizes include a private advance screening of Episode VII to be shown in your hometown for yourself and 20 of your loved ones to enjoy.

Earlier today, Lucasfilm posted a video of Star Wars fans sharing thoughts on how the films made a difference in their lives, what it means to be fan of Star Wars and how the Force for Change campaign has affected them.
