Shortly after this video premiered, Davis took to Twitter to offer his gratitude for support from Star Wars fans:

"Wow! I am overwhelmed to hear how pleased you all are that I’m going back to that famous galaxy, far, far away… Thank you @starwars #JJ@WarwickADavis"

Long time Star Wars fans are very familiar with Warwick Davis, who portrayed the heroic Ewok Wicket W. Warrick in 1983’s Return of the Jedi. Davis was merely twelve years old then and has since had a storied career in both film and television.

In 1999, Davis returned to the Star Wars galaxy by appearing in several roles for George Lucas’ The Phantom Menace. Now, fans eagerly await his appearance in Star Wars: Episode VII.
