Kyle Newman Returns to Star Wars Celebration with Sequel to “Smuggler’s Gambit”

To most diehard Star Wars fans, the name of Kyle Newman is very familiar. The young film director responsible for the cult hit Fanboys has become a respected voice in the nerd community, and now he’s bringing something special to Anaheim, California this April.
Fans who were fortunate enough to attend Star Wars Celebration VI may have caught the live stage performance of Newman’s Star Wars: Smuggler’s Gambit. Following the adventures of Han Solo after the events of Episode IV and featuring the voice talents of several actors from The Clone Wars, Smuggler’s Gambit was a big hit in Orlando two years ago.
Now, Kyle Newman is returning to Star Wars Celebration Anaheim with a follow up to his “radio drama”. Titled Star Wars: Smuggler’s Bounty and continuing the story of Han Solo, the live performance promises to bring excitement to fans this April.

"Smuggler’s Bounty reteams the creatives behind the Celebration VI hit Star Wars: Smuggler’s Gambit. Directed by Newman and co-written by Newman and F.J. DeSanto, Smuggler’s Bounty stars Han Solo and is set during the events of the original trilogy. This one-time-only live performance is scheduled for the Celebration Stage, with music and live sound effects for a thrilling star-studded stage show."
To add to the excitement, the live stage performance of Smuggler’s Bounty will feature the voice talents of Star Wars: The Clone Wars cast members, as well as other special guests.

Collins returns as our favorite Corellian smuggler, James Arnold Taylor will lend his incredible vocal talents, and Jimmy “Mac” McInerney will produce the live experience.
