Carrie Fisher to Appear at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim!

Earlier this week, Lucasfilm announced that veteran actress Carrie Fisher will be among the many exciting guests scheduled to appear at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim this April. Fisher is set to reprise her role as Leia Organa in the highly anticipated Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which will be released on December 18th.

"Carrie Fisher, actress, writer and daughter of Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher made her film debut in Shampoo and went on to become a cultural icon playing Princess Leia in the original Star Wars trilogy.  Since then she has starred in such hits as When Harry Met Sally, Hannah and Her Sisters and The Blues Brothers, to name a few. Her television credits include Laverne & Shirley, Sex and the City, and 30 Rock, for which she received an Emmy nomination. Fisher will reprise her role of Princess Leia in the much-anticipated Star Wars: The Force Awakens.Don’t miss Carrie Fisher at Celebration Anaheim, where she will appear on stage, and sign autographs in the Official Pix Autograph Hall!"

Several other special guests have been added to the Star Wars Celebration Anaheim schedule, including Anthony Daniels and Kenny Baker. Both Daniels and Baker will be returning to Star Wars in their iconic roles of droids C-3P0 and R2-D2, respectively.
