Star Wars VII Rumors: Han Solo and Luke Skywalker could headline new trailer

Despite the excitement of the first Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser, one major aspect was missing. That aspect, while not too terribly detrimental to the teaser itself, was the absence of the old core cast.

Well, all that could change, very soon. On April 16, at Disneyland in Anaheim, California, the Star Wars Celebration kicks off, and Latino Review is convinced that the man himself, J.J.Abrams, will premiere the second Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer. And, that trailer will have at the very least, Luke Skywalker and possibly Han Solo.

LR goes on to explain how the trailer will reportedly play out. We also caution you here, to take this with a heavy grain of salt, as this is purely rumor. Lupita N’yongo, who will portray an alien character named Rose, will supposedly open and narrate.

"“It’s Lupita’s “Rose” that opens the trailer: “I shall show you the story…”"

This scene opens in a forest, with possibly a castle-like structure.

"“of who you seek…”"

A city is shown, in a tropical location, with some sort of water element. LR theorizes this is where the two heroes of a New Force Age find Rose (Lupita N’yongo) and hear her tell them about the strange object they have approached her with.

"“the one who taught me…”"

A cloaked figure is shown standing atop a mountain top, or hill (possibly Luke Skywalker).

"“I know why the weapon came to you.”"

In the darkness of the cave, the alien, Rose, stands with Finn (John Boyega), as he takes a lightsaber hilt, and ignites it. It’s green. This where the John Williams scored music kicks in and the trailer takes off.

"“As the score picks up, we see elder Han Solo wearing a long  brown duster and looking past the camera. Totally recognizably Solo.”"

Here’s where we see all our favorite old-school core cast. C-3PO and R2-D2 doing various droid things. Princess, or possibly Queen Leia in a discussion with Han Solo, before marches off towards the Millennium Falcon and Chewbacca. Then the voice-over changes from Rose, to the raspy voice from the first teaser, possible Andy Serkis:

"“Don’t get too sentimental.”"

We are then taken back to the snowy forest from the first teaser, where the hooded figure, confirmed to be Kylo Ren, is about to face off with Finn who is holding the green lightsaber, and who seems to be protecting Rey. Han Solo can be heard saying:

"“You can do this kid, I believe in you.”"

And then the final shot:

"“Final shot of the trailer is a close-up of a hooded head looking up to reveal Luke.”"

If LR is to be believed (and they do tend to get a lot of these rumors right), then the second Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer is going to be a chills inducing thrill ride that will send fans into a frenzy.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens will hit theaters on December 18th
