All Six Star Wars Films Will Soon Be Available On Vudu
In what was first thought to be an April Fools’ Day prank, Yakface.com has confirmed that all six Star Wars movies will be available via digital release through Vudu. Starting April 10, all you need do is visit Vudu.com, and Star Wars: Episodes 1-6 will be there, at the mercy of your mouse-click or fingertips.
Yakface ran the original story on April 1st, with a picture from a Walmart display sign, announcing the release.

Vudu Star Wars
It’s safe to say that this is fairly huge news for Star Wars fans, everywhere. Most insiders expected an announcement from Disney/Lucasfilm during the April 16-19 Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, California, but with an April 10th release date on the Vudu website, it would seem that supposed announcement will come much sooner than expected.
What we do not know, as of yet, is if any other streaming platforms will be carrying the Star Wars franchise, along with Vudu. If industry leaders like iTunes, Google Play Store, and Amazon Prime aren’t announced, this may be a massive get for Vudu. However, I would expect there to be an announcement, including those big three and others, sooner rather than later. Look for that and other Star Wars news, the closer we get to the Star Wars Celebration, in just a couple of weeks.
