Is there anything quite as cute as a LEGO Ewok? Pardon me while I punch myself in the face, a few hundred times. I guess I’ll take an Ewok over a Gungan, any day. Also, LEGO Chewie is so stinking adorable that I just want to…yeah…ummm…LEGO BOBA FETT! LEGO BOBA FETT!
These posters are quite simply amazing. Nothing says you’ve truly crossed over into every major social stream, than having LEGO make an homage to you. The Star Wars LEGO video games are a blast and these posters capture their delightfulness.
Back in February of this year, LEGO and Disney announced they were once again teaming up to re-tell the Star Wars saga in chronological order from Star Wars: The Phantom Menace up through Star Wars: Return of the Jedi with an all new Star Wars series – LEGO Star Wars: Droid Tales.
Droid Tales, a five-part limited series, will retell the entire saga in a way that will appeal to even the youngest of audiences. The series will air on Disney XD, where current Star Wars hit, Star Wars Rebels resides. Each episode will run 22 minutes, and will be told from the perspectives of C-3PO and R2-D2.
Reportedly, the series will take place after the Battle of Endor in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. The droids will recount their adventures to a gathered crowd, which will more than likely contain more than one of those furry Ewoks. YUB NUB!
