1. Is there a new member of the Skywalker family?

“The Force is strong in my family. My father has it. I have it. My sister has it. You have that power too.”

So says the voiceover narration, which we can pretty much assume is Luke. The narration appears to match up with what’s being shown at the same time: we see Vader’s charred helmet when he says “father,” we see what looks like Luke’s robotic hand petting R2 when he says “I,” and we could see Leia when he says “my sister.”

But there’s no corresponding image with that last line. But the implication seems to be that this person is a member of the Skywalker line. Is it a child of Han and Leia? If so, would that be Poe, Finn, Rey, or Kylo?

Personally, and this is mostly just a gut feeling, I believe that it’s Rey. Going along with what Kathleen Kennedy said in the panel about introducing more female characters, a Skywalker child would undoubtedly be the new face of the franchise, and if they want Star Wars to have more females in the lead roles, then it would make sense to make the most important new character a female.

So, my money is on Rey being the new Mrs. Skywalker.
