22. Mark Hamill Shares Some Secrets
The Skywalker child opened up on stage on Saturday night about a lot of things, but the juiciest tidbits revolved around his role in The Force Awakens.
Among other things, Hamill says he felt “drafted” into the new film, partly because he expected plenty of fan backlash if he didn’t agree to the role. He also noted that he didn’t trust J.J. Abrams at first because of his affiliation with Star Trek, but he has since come around and has talked up how great a job the director has done.
