Hallmark to debut 2 Star Wars: The Force Awakens commemorative ornaments this holiday season
It’s never too early to start shopping for Christmas…or whichever holiday tradition you celebrate. In this spirit, Hallmark has released it’s 2015 Keepsake Dream Book where one can rifle through 94 pages of holiday commemorative ornaments. As part of the Hallmark catalog, Star Wars is represented by 5 ornaments, as well as 2 unnamed ornaments to be revealed later this year.
The first ornament is Zeb from Star Wars Rebels. As you can see, the price for this piece is $14.95 and will be available on July 11.
Next is the Y-Wing from Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. As you can see the price is $29.95 and will be available on July 11.
Here we have Luke and Yoda, during Luke’s Jedi training on Dagobah. This scene is from Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back, and the famous Yoda line is the title of this piece: “There is no try” At $32.95 this ornament is rather pricey, but the detail more than makes up for that. It will be available on July 11.
The next piece is R2 and C-3PO from Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. The price is $17.95 and as with the others, it will be available on July 11.
And now we have Darth Vader being…not so Vader-like. There’s something about the Dark Lord of the Sith wearing a Santa hat and Christmas sweater that is rather unnerving. The price is $19.95 and will be available much later than the others, on October 3.
Finally, we have 2 Star Wars: The Force Awakens ornaments that have not been revealed, as of yet. As you can see, one will be priced $17.95 and will be available in October (No exact date), and the other is $19.95 and will be available in November (No exact date).
Each one of these commemorative ornaments are unique and will make any Star Wars fan’s collection that much better. As for The Force Awakens ornaments, there has to be a reason that Hallmark hasn’t revealed a picture of them, yet. Perhaps they will have to do with something that J.J. and Lucasfilm are trying to keep secret, for now. I guess we will just have to wait and see!
