A First Look at Star Wars: Journey to the Force Awakens Book – Ships of the Galaxy

Jedi-Bibliothek has unearthed the cover to one of the books in the Journey to the Force Awakens book series, which will precede the Star Wars: The Force Awakens film in December of this year. And, thanks to the good folks over at Making Star Wars, we have a translation of the book’s description.

Ships of the Galaxy will be available on September 8, and will be the second reference book in The Journey to the Force Awakens series. The other reference book being Star Wars: Absolutely Everything You Need to Know, which will be available on September 4.

This particular book will be targeting younger audiences, but I see no reason why my 41 year old self won’t be picking up a copy. If the book provides pictures and specs on all the ships in the Star Wars universe, then it will definitely be worth the odd looks from parents in the kid’s section of Barnes & Noble. “What? I’m buying it for my kid.”
