Star Wars: The Force Awakens Black Series Action Figure – First Order Stormtrooper
Just yesterday we brought you an image of the LEGO version of Kylo Ren’s ship from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and today, thanks to Star Wars Underworld, we’ve got a first look at what is rumored to be a Black Series First Order Stormtrooper action figure. SWU us reporting that the figure has surfaced on eBay from a seller who is known to get his or her hands on these types of action figures and toys, much earlier than anyone else, and the seller goes by the name viperskingdom.
You can see by the front view of the figure, that it does indeed have the updated stormtrooper helmet and armor.
The figure also has what appears to be the new blaster.
And the back view lines-up with what we’ve seen from the First Order troopers in the 2 trailers, so far.
If you aren’t familiar with the new terminology being used in The Force Awakens, The First Order was formed from what was left of the Galactic Empire after the Battle of Endor and the fall/death of the Emperor. The First Order became active roughly thirty years after the Galactic Empire’s fall, and came into direct opposition with the Resistance (Formerly the Rebel Alliance).
Much like Emperor Palpatine’s galactic government, the First Order employs the use of stormtroopers, including such different ones as the flametroopers and snowtroopers. The First Order also employs the use of the infamous TIE fighters and Star Destroyers of the former Galactic Empire. Not much else is known about the First Order, from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, let alone who leads them. Rumors abound that Kylo Ren, the sith character from the trailers, is revered as a Force user and some in the First Order believe he is actually Darth Vader. Again, that’s just a rumor, but one thing is clear, the First Order troopers have a new look, and it’s impressive.
