Star Wars Battlefront Deluxe Edition Unveiled


The Electronic Entertainment Expo, or E3, opens its doors on June 16, next week in Los Angeles, and one of the most highly anticipated games in a long time is hoping to make a large impact…that game is Star Wars Battlefront. Some new information regarding the game, has been revealed with the announcement and unveiling of the Star Wars Battlefront Deluxe Edition.

The Deluxe Edition, which comes with a price tag of $69.99, unlocks five in-game items, which include Han Solo’s DL-44 blaster, Ion Grenades, Ion Torpedos, Ion Shock emote (exclusive to the Deluxe Edition), and Victory emotes (also exclusive to the Deluxe Edition).

By pre-ordering Star War Battlefront, you can be among the first players to experience the Battle of Jakku (The new desert planet in Star Wars: The Force Awakens). This is the pivotal moment when the New Republic confronts key Imperial holdouts on that remote desert planet in the Outer Rim. The Battle of Jakku takes place after of the Rebel victory at the Battle of Endor from the end of Return of the Jedi, and players will experience the events that created the massive, battle-scarred landscape of Jakku. Those players who pre-order Star Wars Battlefront can participate in the battle one week early, while all other players will get access to the content on December 8th…the regularly scheduled release date.

Star Wars Battlefront will be available November 17, 2015 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and on Origin for PC.
