If you’ve had the pleasure of playing the delightful online collectible card game, Hearthstone, from Blizzard, then you’ve surely seen how the mechanics of the game work to help you the player defeat your foe, using the most powerful cards in your deck. Since its inception, many Photoshop savvy users have created their own version of the cards from the game. And now, thanks to  Reddit user Saturos47, we’ve got some very cool Star Wars inspired Hearthstone cards.

Starting with the Jedi cards:

Old Ben — “If you strike me down…”

Qui-Gon Jinn — He finds the Chosen One. Loses to maul’s stats.

Obi-Wan Kenobi — He’s going to avenge Qui-Gon. This also this gives him enough attack to kill Maul.

Mace Windu — He can kill Chancellor Palpatine with his stats.

Anakin SkywalkerHe’s about to unleash some aggressive negotiations.

Master YodaHe can go toe to toe with Dooku’s stats, and has a somewhat thematically similar effect to the emperor but doesn’t manipulate behind the scenes.

Luke Skywalker — Use the force, Luke.

And now for the Sith cards:

Chancellor PalpatineThe master manipulator.

The Emperor/Darth Sidious — Wins games from behind the scenes.

Darth Maul — His double saber allows him strike both minion and hero at the same time.

Count Dooku/Darth Tyranus — Lightning spells: lightning bolt, forked lightning, lightning storm.

General GreviousFour lightsabers. Loses to Obi-Wan in a fight.

Darth VaderThe Dark Lord of the Sith, probably is your father.

The creator of the Hearthstone/Star Wars cards also included some cool character cards like Boba and Jango Fett. Han Solo, Chewbacca, Leia, and Lando. And, add loads of minor cards like droids, random bounty hunters and thugs, Jabba the Hutt, and various other minor characters from the films.

I’ve got to say, I’ve seen these Hearthstone mashups before, and in my opinion this is some of the better alternate cards I’ve seen. Too bad there isn’t an official Star Wars themed Hearthstone CCG, because I would play that in a heartbeat. You can see the entire album of cards HERE.
