There are only six months between now and the December 18 premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and there is so much that will begin to happen. Starting with September 4th, which is being billed as Force Friday, which fans on Twitter can use #ForceFriday to track all the exciting events as they unfold. From the big Toys”R”Us midnight event, to the release of Journey to the Force Awakens, which will kick off a three month adventure to The Force Awakens debut. As part of this campaign, there will be all new novels published, more comics, all new toylines, and of course video games like Star Wars Battlefront.

The San Diego Comic-Con will begin in two weeks, and Star Wars is set to take center stage in the convention’s largest stage, Hall H. Hopes are that a new trailer for both The Force Awakens and Rogue One will be shown, and even perhaps a teaser for Episode VIII. This is going to be fun, so hold on to your butts!

We can now consider this the last leg of the race to The Force Awakens, and the time for excitement and hype is at a veritable fever pitch. Stay Tuned to Dork Side of the Force, as we will be covering each and every bit of news regarding all the new Star Wars films, especially The Force Awakens, and Rogue One, as they hit the net.
