Adidas Star Wars Themed Shoes Coming Soon
With September 4th (Force Friday) rapidly approaching, Star Wars merchandise is being primed to go on display for purchase, in what will most assuredly be in mass quantities. There will be Star Wars toys, of course, novels and comic books, video games, and clothing. In that regard, shoe maker Adidas, seems to be getting in on the frenzy with their own special offering.
Website Sole Collector has just released a full spread of the Star Wars themed Adidas shoes that will be available for purchase in the very near future, and I’ve got to say, even though I’m a NIKE man myself, these Adidas shoes will have a special home in my closet.
"“The Three Stripes is again teaming up with George Lucas’ franchise for a range of ZX Flux styles, which further the sort of other-galaxy flavor allowed on the sneakers. Notable this time around are the dubraes, which come in the shape of Darth Vader, a Storm Trooper, and even the iconic Star Wars font, and the detail heel cages that imitate the masks of Star Wars villains.”"
SC has a complete photo spread of the various shoes that will be available soon from the Adidas store, here’s what you can expect:
First up we’ve got Darth Vader and his stormtroopers on display.
These two shoes in black and white seem to be Vader themed, which means you won’t have to stick to black to rock the Vader look.
If you’re not a fan of the Empire or Dark Side of the Force, don’t worry, Adidas has you covered with what appears to be Jedi themed shoes. Green and blue are traditional Jedi lightsaber colors.
And there’s even a Master Yoda shoe, as well.
Or, if you’re looking for just a basic Star Wars shoe, Adidas will have that as well.
I’ve got to say, I’m kind of partial to these gold shoes. The backs look like they may even have a C-3PO theme to them, with the gold plated look. SC doesn’t have a date on when the shoes will be available for order, but if the big Star Wars merchandise marketing campaign of Force Friday (September 4), is any type of measurement, then I would bet they’d be available then.
