18. Liam Neeson Was Too Tall for The Phantom Menace Sets
Liam Neeson is a man of many skills, but he’s far from a perfect actor. Production on The Phantom Menace was effected by something someone probably should have foreseen yet still slipped through the cracks.
Neeson is tall, like really tall.
In fact, the actor is so tall that he towered over some of the sets that were built, and adjustments needed to be made. Sets were rebuilt, shooting was shifted around and eventually the problem was solved. Neeson’s height wasn’t the biggest problem The Phantom Menace had, but it goes to show that from the start basically nothing went right with that flick.
