Comparing The Force Awakens Poster to the Previous 6 Star Wars Films

Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope was the first Star Wars film, but because we got the prequels, it actually lands at number four. Episode IV was all about one farm boy named Luke…Luke Skywalker. The son of Anakin and Padme was the focus of the fourth film, and the poster lets you know that is the case. In fact, since Star Wars is really about the Skywalker family, Luke’s sister shares the spotlight with him, although, at the time, none of us knew they were siblings.

The cool feature here is, Darth Vader looming over everything, while the Death Star hangs menacingly in the corner like a moon…that’s no moon.
