6. Yoda Fights Count Dooku
Film: Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones
The Moment: Count Dooku has incapacitated Obi-Wan and Anakin after they engaged him in an attempt to prevent him from leaving Geonosis. When it looks like Dooku is going to get away, Yoda hobbles into the room to confront his old colleague, first by catching force lightning and shooting it back at his foe and then by taking out his lightsaber to school Dooku in the art of war.
Why It’s Memorable: Up until this point in the history of Star Wars, we hadn’t seen Yoda do much of anything except limp around like an elder-statesman of the Jedi. That’s why we didn’t expect much when Yoda hobbled into the hangar bay to defend Anakin and Obi-Wan, but we got more than our money’s worth with what followed.

Watching Yoda leap and fly around with his lightsaber was something that instantly made us forget how garbage the prequel films had been as we were totally invested in watching Yoda fight like we have never seen before. It’s not the best lightsaber fight in the saga, but it lived up to what we saw with Darth Maul and is pretty much the definition of a WTF moment since that’s exactly what we all said when Yoda proved definitively that he is the best Jedi ever.
