One of the really exciting things about this trailer is the shots like this, where we see the movie harkens back to that original visual language of the first movie that made it so groundbreaking. The swoops between jutting out barrier, the way the flat Millennial Falcon turns sideways at just the last second to avoid the crash, the tie fighters on its tail. This is pure original trilogy visuals, and it’s part of why these trailers are hitting our nostalgia buttons so hard.
