The first time we saw a shot of a storm trooper taking off his helmet, there was a shockwave because it wasn’t a white guy. The shock of that has worn off slightly, since we know know more about Finn, and his character. But there’s something still remarkable about watching a Stormtrooper pull their helmet off at all, and the hyperventilating that follows, which really humanizes them.
