35. Shapeshifter (Zam Wessel)  vs Changeling (Odo)

Both Star Wars and Star Trek have their own weird and creepy aliens. One example is the Shapeshifters of Star Wars and the Changelings of Star Trek. A Shapeshifter bounty hunter by the name of Zam Wessel first made her — first and last — appearance in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. She was hired by Jango Fett to assassinate Padme Amidala, and ultimately failed thanks to the heroics of Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Trek has Changelings. Composed of morphogenic enzymes, the molecules responsible for their shapeshifting ability, a Changeling’s natural state is a formless gelatinous mass, that it must revert to, every eighteen hours or its body will begin to deteriorate. Trek‘s most famous Changeling is a guy called Odo. Odo was one of a hundred infants of his species, sent out to explore the galaxy and then compelled to return home in order to share their experiences. Odo found a home on the space station Deep Space 9.

Winner: Zam, because bounty hunters are way cooler than a gelatinous mass. While I’m sure Odo endeared himself to fans of Star Trek and Deep Space 9, he wouldn’t stand a chance against Zam, her blaster, and those creepy millipede things that almost got Padme.
