6. Emperor Palpatine vs The Borg Queen

In the world of Star Wars there is not a more evil being than Emperor Palpatine, who is the Dark Lord of the Sith as Darth Sidious. Palpatine embodies what it means to be an evil Sith. As a general rule, the Sith are pretty bad, but Palpatine surpasses all other Dark Lords before him, because of his manipulation of young Anakin Skywalker, the kidnapping of Force sensitive children so that he could experiment on them and most likely create a new batch of Dark Side acolytes, and finally his coup de grâce, the Jedi Purge: Order 66.

The Borg Queen is just as evil. What else would you call someone who says this about themselves:  “I am the beginning, the end, the one who is many. I am the Borg.” Under her guidance, the Borg assimilated entire civilizations, and destroyed those who resisted. In a collective that was supposed to show no emotion, the Borg Queen was the exception. She was ruthless, manipulative, and even feigned fear at being killed, when Captain Janeway threatened to kill her. Many would say that the Borg could not be evil, rather they were simply carrying out their goal like soldier ants in an ant colony. But, the Queen Borg demonstrated that she above all others under her, was the most important, even at the cost of sacrificing the Borg drones in service to her, in order to survive.

Winner: Emperor Palpatine. He can shoot Force lightning. Oh, and he carried out his own assimilation, when he turned the prophesied Chosen One — Anakin Skywalker — from the Light to the Dark Side of the Force. Can the Borg Queen shoot lightning? No? Didn’t think so.
