45. Han Solo vs Riker

Han Solo is a cavalier space scoundrel who is arguably the greatest smuggler of his time…and a scruffy Nerf herder to boot. Riker shares many of Han’s attributes. He has a cavalier attitude, and has been considered a bit of a rogue, as well as being quite the lady’s man. But how do the two actually compare. Let’s see.

Han Solo: 

  • Home Planet — Corellia
  • Ship — Millennium Falcon
  • Occupation/Military Rank — Former Imperial Lieutenant turned smuggler turned Captain and then General in the Rebel Alliance.
  • Known Associates — Chewbacca, Leia, Luke Skywalker, Lando Calrissian.
  • Weapon of Choice — DL-44 Heavy Blaster

William Riker: 

  • Home Planet — Earth
  • Ship — The Enterprise
  • Military Rank — First Officer, Commanding Officer, Captain Commander.
  • Known Associates — Captain Picard, Worf,  Counselor Troi.
  • Weapon of Choice — Phaser Pistol

Winner: Han Solo, because…come on, do I need to really explain why? Whether you believe Han shot first or not, since his arrival on screen in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, the scoundrel with a heart of gold has become one of the most beloved characters in the history of Star Wars. And, while Riker is okay, he certainly could never make the Kessel Run in 12 parsecs.
