Best Moment

How do you personally create the way of the modern Sith Lord and not have that be your best moment. That’s what Darth Bane seemed to be born for, as he grew up int he Sith Academy but quickly dismantled it all to start a new Sith Order — the one we are familiar with today. It was Bane who created the Sith, the rule of two and so many other things that served as the foundation for Darth Sidious, Darth Maul and Darth Vader to exist.

Worst Moment

When you take yourself out of Bane’s warped view on the world, you see pretty easily what his worst moment was. The guy created the Sith religion as it was known in the prequels and beyond — not the best thing for the races of the galaxy. Bane was both the best and worst thing to happen to the Sith ways, as he helped lift the Sith out of the ashes but also set in motion a system that would eventually undo itself so many thousands of years later.

Breakdown

Darth Bane may only be a book character, but he was one of the most fascinating creations in the Star Wars universe. The way he came up in the Sith Academy and recreated the ways of the Sith is one of the best stories told in the Star Wars canon — even if it’s officially now a Legends tale only.
