Best Moment

Love him or hate him, C-3PO was able to help the Rebels beat the Empire on Endor thanks to the Ewoks thinking he was a golden god. It wasn’t really a talent that he had more so than a coincidence, but you have to credit him with being in the right place at the right time.

Worst Moment

Remember that time Luke, Han, Leia and Chewie were stuck in the trash compactor? Do you also remember how C-3PO panicking almost got them killed? Yeah, that’s the very definition of a low point when you almost get your friends killed for being a spaz and that’s maybe the strongest trait that Threepio has.

Breakdown

While he’s a great character as far as holding place near and dear to our hearts, it’s incredibly hard to argue that C-3PO is anything other than strictly comic relief in the Star Wars films. There is not a single moment where anyone is in a bind and C-3PO uses his wits to save the day.

Anytime that the droid participates in saving the day it’s either as a lowly party or it’s completely accidental.

Eat up with this Star Wars waffle maker.

C-3PO was the one who almost crushed his friends alive in a trash compactor, he basically gave up after he and R2 were given to Jabba and basically every other time he was called upon he failed or was useless. He wasn’t even in most of Empire as he was either shut down for being annoying or blown to pieces for being stupid.
