22. Jango Fett

Major Appearances

  • Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones

Best Moment

Bounty hunters don’t really have great moments, they have a series of moments that vary from good to bad based on the job. But if you had to pinpoint a best moment for Jango, it has to be when he taught Boba the trick his son later used in Episode V to track Han Solo.

Worst Moment

Getting his head cut off by Mace Windu was without a doubt the lowest point absolutely possible. Jango was an important part of the Star Wars arc, as he’s the basis for the stormtroopers, but that didn’t really help him when he needed to defend himself against a Jedi.

Stay classy with this Boba Fett button-up shirt.

He wasn’t the nicest of characters, but he was a family man and seeing him get his head cut off wasn’t something we totally enjoyed.

Breakdown

Jango was a character we couldn’t wait to meet in the prequels, but were mildly underwhelmed by. He wasn’t around very long but he left his impression on the entire series by being the subject that the stormtroopers were based off of. This was retconned a little thanks to what we know about Finn in The Force Awakens, but Jango will always be a part of the franchise’s core history if for nothing other than his infamous son.
