Best Moment
Perhaps the best moment that Mace Windu had was when he helped rescue Anakin, Padme and Obi-Wan on Geonosis. Sure, he decapitated Jango Fett in rather un-Jedi style, but he was instrumental in helping to lead the Republic Army, even if he was opposed to the idea in the first place. That’s the type of leader he was, making things happen to save lives rather than delegate and risk them.
Worst Moment
As wise as Mace was, he was just as foolish. He left his life in the hands of Anakin, even though he didn’t trust him for a second. The moment they met in Episode I, Mace was not on board with Anakin becoming a Jedi and he never trusted him from that point on — right up to the moment of his death. In that moment, he trusted Anakin — a guy he had never trusted before — and it cost him his life.
Breakdown
Mace Windu was more than just a wise Jedi, he was also one of the most cunning warriors in the galaxy. There was a reason he was on the high council with Yoda and concerned the second most powerful Jedi out there. It didn’t save him from death, but Windu was important to the Jedi and is someone who left his impression — for better or for worse.
