- Clone Wars
Best Moment
For a guy who wasn’t around very long, it’s hard to say that Qui-Gon had a lot of great moments. He also gave the galaxy Anakin, the guy who would eventually destroy everything. But there were plenty of good things that Qui-Gon did, not the least of which was leaving an impression on Obi-Wan that we saw stick with him throughout the rest of the films.
Worst Moment
Dying was pretty awful, especially since it probably could have been avoided. Qui-Gon was yet another powerful Jedi who fell victim to not being an effective enough warrior as wisdom only takes you so far. Wisdom might have brought Qui-Gon to help mold the mind of Obi-Wan but it sure as hell doesn’t stop a lightsaber from stabbing you.
Breakdown
We didn’t get to see much of Qui-Gon in the prequel films — mainly because he was just in one movie. But what we did see of him we really liked, whether that was Liam Neeson coming out in the role or if it was just how wise and nurturing the character was. He wasn’t around for a long time, but we did get to connect with Qui-Gon enough to be excited to see him return in the final season of Clone Wars.
