Best Moment
Yoda training Luke was a pretty awesome thing but his best moment might have been when he defended Obi-Wan and Anakin by fighting Count Dooku in Episode II. Before this, Yoda was just a hobbled old Jedi who sat around and said things backwards — but this was Yoda busting out lightsaber skills we had never seen before — and it was the coolest.
Worst Moment
Out of all of the Jedi who failed to see Anakin’s descent into darkness, Yoda missing this is extra disappointing. He’s supposed to be the wisest of all the Jedi, yet even he didn’t see what was right under his nose? In a lot of ways, this potions the legacy of Yoda, who we had built up in our minds to be this all-powerful figure who was more mortal than we thought.
Breakdown
How can you not like Yoda, the cutest Jedi in the galaxy. He’s part muppet, part monk, total badass and he’s only about two feet tall. That’s a whole lot of awesome packed into a little dude, and we saw ranges of that throughout the franchise. Whether it was his lightsaber battle with Dooku in Episode II or his wise training of Luke in Episode V, Yoda was one of the strongest things about the entire series.
