  • Clone Wars

Best Moment

There was actually pretty cool episode of Clone Wars that featured Greedo trying to kidnap a trio of characters in which he actually came off pretty well. Aside from the whole kidnapping thing, Greedo was actually a functioning member of the galaxy, even if his plot was foiled by Ashoka in the end.

Worst Moment

Getting shot by the guy you’re supposed to be collecting a bounty on is pretty much the exact opposite of what you want to happen. Unfortunately for Greedo, not only was he killed by Han Solo, but his death is one of the most iconically debated moments in Star Wars history.

Breakdown

Did Greedo shoot first? That’s a question that some Star Wars fans still debate over even though we know that it was Han who shot first. But that whole incident is something that took a throwaway character and made him into one of the most iconic parts about Star Wars.

Greedo isn’t going to be confused for Luke Skywalker and he’s hardly a character who is high up on anyone’s list of great characters in the films. But he’s an essential part oft he mythos and is someone that even though he goes out like a punk, will be defended by Star Wars fans if needed.

This R2-D2 teapot is a must-have addition to your kitchen.

Stating the obvious though, Greedo can’t be ranked very high on the list for the mere fact that he was a bounty hunter who went out hard. You can’t go around talking trash and then backing it up by getting shot by a smuggler you’re supposed to be collecting a bounty on.
