Breakdown

I want to talk about Bib Fortuna here, but this is actually all about Jar Jar and how stupid he is. We all hate Jar Jar, and he’s literally so useless of a character that Jabba’s lackey is more powerful than Jar Jar. That goes for C-3PO too, who was actually bullied by this thing, not to mention the little rat thing that hung out in the palace.

Bib isn’t really a powerful character on his own, but he’s made powerful by the company that he keeps. That’s primarily Jabba, but that’s a connection that carries some weight of protection. No one is going to mess with Bib so long as he’s associated with Jabba, and being the lackey of one of the most powerful gangsters in the galaxy is not that bad of a gig when you think about it.

This Star Wars comics box set is sure to turn heads. You need to have it.

However, beyond his association with Jabba, there really isn’t much to Bib and there’s hardly anything scary about him. He seems like your typical tough character who leverages who he knows to stay alive as opposed to being actually tough.
