Best Moment

Kidnapping Luke and tossing him in what doubled as a refrigerator and a home was pretty much the high point for the Wampa. It displayed the power that the creature has and like the Tuskan Raiders, the Wampa is a variable that can’t be ignored.

Worst Moment

Well, I mean it kind of sucked when the Tampa got its arm cut off. It wasn’t as bad as the Tuskan Raider massacre, but you lose points for losing limbs.

Breakdown

In a galaxy full of game changing characters, it’s hard to have as little screen time as the Wampa had yet leave such a massive impression. You can’t think of Empire and not think about the Wampa scene at the beginning of the film. It reminded us that while it was a battle between good and evil, there’s always extra danger that can be added to the mix at unexpected times.
