Best Moment
There have been a number of comical moments involving the Jawas over the course of the Star Wars story being told, but perhaps their greatest moment was — well, all of them. For character so ambiguous to the story, the Jawas have popped up in just about every single Star Wars story in one way or another.
Worst Moment
They dumped C-3PO and R2-D2 to Owen Lars for basically nothing. This is the Star Wars equivalent of the Red Sox selling Babe Ruth to the Yankees to fund some play. The Jawas will be around forever but they’re going to be paying for selling their hottest commodities for a long time.
Breakdown
The Jawas are some of the most meaningless characters in the galaxy, yet they have the power to control events like few others. They were involved in telling Anakin where the Tuskan Raiders were holding his mother, they sold R2 and Threepio to Owen and their massacre at the hands of the stormtroopers led Luke back home and eventually onto the path to saving the galaxy.
