28. Savage Opress

This character gets a lot of points for coolness. Even though he is a replacement Darth Maul in every way, but he’s also a fierce fighter and a scary opponent for any Jedi.

The drawback is that he is very much a pawn in everything. Asajj Ventress, betrayed by Count Dooku, plants Opress as a mole to take her place as Dooku’s assassin only to assist in revenge. Ventress then abandons him, leaving him to turn to his suddenly alive brother and the Nightsisters. He submits to Maul as his Sith master, proceeding to swear revenge on everything just like everyone else in Star Wars.

I tease this character, but he is a really cool bad guy. He actually puts up a fight against Ventress and Dooku. On top of that, he is another tragic character who puts his faith in the wrong people and ultimately ends up evil because of his personal suffering. He also cares for Feral, his other brother, very much, and shows an inner humanity in how much he gives to protect him.

While not being extremely unique, Opress brings a lot of cool action by doubling up on one of Star Wars’ best fighting baddies.
