Ten Bold Predictions for Star Wars: Episode VIII

With the worldwide premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens well underway, we look ahead and make ten bold predictions for Star Wars: Episode VIII.

Now that we’ve seen Star Wars: The Force Awakens, we get to start the long year and a half wait for Star Wars: Episode VIII. With that in mind, Dork Side of the Force puts our thinking caps on and makes 10 bold predictions for Episode VIII. With only one major death confirmed from The Force Awakens, it seems as if the majority of cast will return for Episode VIII, so the possibilities for story-arcs are literally endless.

10. Lando Calrissian will make an appearance

One of the most obvious absences in The Force Awakens, was that of Billy Dee Williams as Lando Calrissian. Rumors have it that Lando will be a part of Episode VIII, and have been around since the cast for The Force Awakens was announced. Williams was at the Hollywood premiere of TFA, and was cryptic about his involvement in the next film. Here’s why I think Lando will be in Episode VIII: His pal, Han Solo, is dead. If nothing will serve to bring Lando out of hiding … or whatever he’s doing, it would be so that he could be there for the family of his best bro. Plus now, he can finally take the Falcon back without Han trying to swindle it out of him again.
