Ten Bold Predictions for Star Wars: Episode VIII

1. Luke will duel Kylo Ren

The culmination of Episode VIII will have to be Luke confronting Kylo Ren. Even if Kylo will eventually seek redemption in the Light, he still must pay for the death of his own father, Han Solo. What better way for Episode VIII to make its impact on the franchise, than by having an epic lightsaber/Force duel between the bad guy and Jedi Master Luke? Also, this very well could be Luke’s Obi-Wan sacrificial moment. He could give himself to the Force and guide Rey from the great beyond. Can you imagine Force Ghost Luke becoming Kylo and Rey’s guide? Especially if Kylo turns to the Light.
