8. Rey will be confirmed to be Luke’s daughter

At the end of The Force Awakens, Rey finds Jedi Master Luke. I think for the story to continue smoothly, and for this Sequel Trilogy to have that Star Wars nostalgic feel to it, then Rey needs to be Luke’s daughter, much like Kylo Ren is Leia’s son. The question then becomes, why would Luke abandon his own daughter on a desert planet? Well I believe it was to keep her safe from his enemies. We already know that Kylo betrayed Luke’s new Jedi Academy and with the help of the Knights of Ren, slaughtered all the pupils. It’s obvious Rey is strong in the Force, and that Luke will teach her, but is she his daughter? I think so.
