The Force Awakens Blu Ray Trailer Glimpses Deleted Scene Of Kylo Ren

The official trailer for the Star Wars: The Force Awakens Blu Ray and DVD release shows a deleted scene featuring Kylo Ren aboard the Millennium Falcon.

Stormtroopers and a masked Kylo Ren are seen entering the interior of the Millennium Falcon in the deleted scene. The stormtrooper tells Kylo that the area is clear, but the former Ben Solo still senses the presence of his father.

In addition to a glimpse of the above sequence, the official trailer announcing the official Blu Ray and DVD releases of The Force Awakens included a brief look behind the scenes of Kylo and Rey’s lightsaber battle on Starkiller Base. In StarWars.com’s announcement of the release and the trailer, a plethora of behind the scenes bonus features were listed and will be available in each of the exclusive editions of the Blu Ray and DVD.

Target’s exclusive packaging will include 20 minute of extra bonus material, “including never-before-seen interviews with Daisy Ridley and John Boyega and a deeper look at the movie’s costumes and weaponry” (via StarWars.com). Best Buy will sell a steelbook version, while Walmart’s The Force Awakens Blu Ray cover will feature BB-8.

The digital version of The Force Awakens will be available April 1st, and on Blu Ray combo pack and DVD April 5th. Now all that’s left to do is decide which cover you want to get.
