How To Decorate Your Kitchen With A Star Wars Theme

facebooktwitterreddit

For baking Wookiee cookie(e)s, cooking Yoda’s soup, and adapting the Ewoks’ stormtrooper head recipe, your kitchen needs the proper Star Wars tools and decorations.

Have you ever wanted to decorate your kitchen with Star Wars? From R2-D2 cookie jars and measuring tools, to a Han Solo frozen in carbonite mini fridge and Death Star ice sphere molds, everything you could possibly need for a Star Wars-themed kitchen or just subtle touches of geekery can be found on the internet.

Below is a list of kitchen utensils and decor that will bring the galaxy far, far away into the heart of your home (all items listed are from Think Geek).

Star Wars Death Star Measuring Cups – $14.99

The Empire is so precise, I wouldn’t be surprised if the kitchens aboard the Death Star had sets just like this (okay, maybe they wouldn’t have had sets quite this cute). It’s a pity this one doesn’t come with teaspoon and tablespoon measuring tools, but you can always buy a gray set from Wal-Mart to complement the hard, cold surface of the cup-sized planetary death machine.

Star Wars R2-D2 Measuring Cup Set – $19.99

This set, on the other hand, comes with the smaller measuring tools as well as the cups. It makes sense, after all, as R2-D2 is the droid with all the gadgets (though I think BB-8 could give him a run for his money).

Star Wars R2-D2 Talking Cookie Jar – $29.99

Who cares about hiding your lightsaber in your trusty sidekick droid when he can carry cookies for you?

Han Solo Fridge – $159.99

As a college student, this is something I would love to have in my dorm room. Regardless of what space you put it in, it’s sure to be a talking piece, and it will keep your blue milk chilled, as well.

Death Star Ice SPHERE Mold – $12.99

Speaking of chill: the iciness of the Empire strikes back with these Death Star ice molds! The resulting ice spheres are talking pieces you can eat.

R2-D2 & C-3PO Spice Shaker Set – $19.99

Spice shakers, or salt and pepper shakers, are small and therefore allow you to easily get away with working a Star Wars theme into your kitchen or dining decor. The question is, who will you make salt and who will you make pepper? (In my opinon, R2 is the spicy and sassy one, while 3PO can be a little salty.)
