Are you a fan of Star Wars but you also love Game of Thrones? Do you wish there was a way for both genres to be on the screen at the same time? Well, we’ve dug through the darkest recesses of the internet (YouTube) and found the perfect match to fill that Starkiller Base sized hole in your heart…

YouTube is a veritable playground of mashup videos, where the denizens of the internet go to make fun of Drake videos, and rant about the latest video games, or even record their own reactions to the newest Star Wars films (Rogue One) trailers. Usually the comments sections are filled with incredibly offensive and horribly racist political commentary, or just plain mom jokes…because the internet is collectively a 12-year-old boy sitting in his mom’s basement screaming for more hotpockets and burning ants with a magnifying glass…but I digress. However, there is the rare occasion when someone out there puts their powers of splicing and dicing videos to good use, and makes a wonderful mashup of Game of Thrones characters using lightsabers to fight off their enemies, and something wonderful happens, people love it.

Obviously, if you haven’t been keeping up with Game of Thrones, beware the SPOILERS. You’ve been warned.

And that’s where we come in. We’ve scoured YouTube for the best 10 videos of Star Wars and Game of Thrones mashups, where the Thrones characters were altered to used lightsabers, instead of their usual swords. Some of the videos even go so far as to add the fantastic and iconic musical score from the legendary John Williams. So, sit back, pour yourself a glass of blue milk (or don’t because that stuff has to be gross, right?) and enjoy our: “10 Times Star Wars Made Game of Thrones Better.”

When Stannis and his ill-fated march to Winterfell in the Game of Thrones Season 5 finale, ended in a bloody slaughter, some enterprising fan replaced all the swords in the Mannis’s army with lightsabers. I guess Stannis finally got his Lightbringer, after all. But since that particular YouTube video had been deleted, all we have is this lovely GIF — saved for all time, for posterity’s sake. Stannis may have lost the battle, and his life, but boy did he go out like a boss…a lightsaber wielding boss.
