The Her Universe Fashion Show has debuted a new series on Comic Con HQ leading up to this year’s show at San Diego Comic Con.

“27 contestants. 4 weeks. 1 dream” (via Twitter). That’s what The Her Universe Fashion Show promises to deliver in a new series on Comic Con HQ.

The online streaming service, plans for which start at $5 a month, has debuted the first two episodes of The Her Universe Fashion Show. The four-week series leading up to the runway.  will see contestants putting their best fangirl fashion foot forward as they’re outfits are judged by Her Universe founder Ashley Eckstein and a team of experts. The latter’s choices move on to the show itself at SDCC in July, where two winners will be chosen by the judges and the audience.

Past winners on the show have been given the opportunity to design female geek clothing lines, with themes like Marvel and Star Wars, in partnership with Her Universe and Hot Topic. But it was their original designs on the runway which got them that opportunity. Check out last year’s winners: judges’ pick Kelly Cercone in Joker’s New Look, and audience favorite Leetal Platt in Usagi’s Transformation.
