The Star Wars panels scheduled for San Diego Comic Con days one and two have been posted on the official SDCC website.

San Diego Comic Con, or SDCC, officially begins Thursday, July 21st and end Sunday, July 24th. The schedule of panels for the first two days have been revealed on the official SDCC website and feature an array of Star Wars panels we’ll be covering for news.

There are many panels on Thursday with the key word “star wars” registered; however, a couple of these, like The Unsung Stuntmen and Women of the Movies at 2:00 pm and The Most Dangerous Women At Comic-Con: To Bechdel Or Not To Bechdel at 5:30 pm sound like analytical discussions. There are a couple worth watching out for, however, for potential reveals about future Star Wars products and projects.

Check out the compiled schedule below, along with brief descriptions of why the panel will be significant in parentheses.

Thursday, July 21st

  • Jakks Pacific: Insider Fan Panel (Star Wars “life-size” action figures) – 12:00 pm
  • Spotlight on Jason Aaron (Marvel Star Wars comics writer) – 4:00 pm

Friday is when panels from which we can expect news of new books, comics, Hasbro action figures, and more are scheduled. Check it out.

Friday, July 22nd

  • Star Wars Publishing (Marvel, Del Rey, and Disney/Lucasfilm Press, new project reveals) – 11:00 am
  • Hasbro Star Wars (new Star Wars Hasbro toy reveals) – 12:00 pm
  • Star Wars Collectibles Update With Lucasfilm’s Anita Castellar (previews of new Star Wars collectible figures) – 1:00 pm

We will post updates on the Saturday and Sunday schedules of Star Wars events, if there are any, as they are revealed. One event to look out for is the announcement of the winning character of the Hasbro Fan’s Choice Poll, in which you can still vote here at Dork Side for which Star Wars character you want made into a Hasbro Black Series action figure. It may take place during the Hasbro Star Wars panel on Friday, as the description for the panel on the SDCC website alludes to “a special product reveal.”
