Hasbro Has Chosen 24 Winners Of The Star Wars Toy Pic Challenge

In May, Hasbro challenged fans to recreate iconic scenes from The Force Awakens using action figures from their Star Wars line. Yesterday they announced the 24 winning photos, which will be displayed at SDCC.

Toys are made to bring adventures to life. With just a little imagination you can play out a whole movie in your living room without even turning off the television. With a touch more ingenuity, you can make it look like the movie in real life, not just your head.

That’s basically what Hasbro asked fans to do for their Star Wars Toy Pic challenge back in May. The rules were: recreate a scene from The Force Awakens using action figures from Hasbro’s Star Wars line, then take a picture of it and share it on social media using the hashtags #StarWars and #HasbroToyPic.

Hundreds of fans responded with photos, and Hasbro has chosen 24 winners whose creations will be displayed at San Diego Comic Con later this month. For those of you who can’t make the event July 21st-24th, we have the photos below. Check them out.

It’s amazing what you can do with some well placed props and lighting. The photos above literally look like they were taken from the set of The Force Awakens, albeit maybe a stop motion animated version. The 24 winners deserve to have their work displayed for everyone at SDCC to see. Congratulations to them all!
