Director Krennic is the Imperial Military Director of Security for the Death Star, as well as, Advanced Weapons Research for the Imperial Military…so you can see, he is quite the important person. Maybe that’s why he wears the swanky cape, and dresses in all white.

Krennic is obsessed with the completion of the long-delayed Death Star project, and he will not allow anyone or anything, to get in his way.
