Mark Hamill Confirms Something for Star Wars: Episode IX
Actor Mark Hamill who plays Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars saga, has just set the internet on fire, once again, by tweeting a video of him doing a certain action…
Warning: Spoilers Below!
Mark Hamill has been the flag carrying cast member for Star Wars, for some years now, and especially since news that Disney and Lucasfilm would be making a Sequel Trilogy. The actor has a massive Twitter following, and he interacts with his fans through the social media platform on a daily, and sometimes hourly, basis. Mark Hamill is just a down to earth, all around good dude.
That’s why when the actor took to Twitter late yesterday to post a video of someone shaving his Jedi Master beard, the internet nearly melted. Check it out:
Bye bye, beard indeed! I love how a puppet hand (Yoda’s?) comes in and wipes his face clean, after the shave. However, did you catch the really important part?
"“At least til #EpisodeIX”"
What does this mean for Old Man Luke? Well, there are certainly several conclusions to take from Hamill’s playful teasing of the internet.
- Luke makes it through Star Wars: Episode VIII just fine, and we will see him happy and hale in Star Wars: Episode IX.
- Luke dies in Star Wars: Episode VIII, but Hamill returns to Star Wars: Episode IX as a Force Ghost.
- Hamill is playing the role of his DC character, The Trickster, and Luke dies in Star Wars: Episode VIII, and won’t be appearing in Star Wars: Episode IX.
Next: Ian McDiarmid won’t be in Rogue One…what does this mean for Emperor Palpatine?
